It can be beneficial to power to increase the boost pressure on the turbo while making tuning to the TD5 Defender or Discovery engine.
However this cannot be done normally as the ECU will sense the higher boost pressure and go into limp home mode above a certain pressure point.

However clamping the boost pressure signal with this box will allow you to run upto 1.35-1.4bar boost pressure up from your 1.2bar standard pressure without the engine going into limp home mode.

This box clamps the output signal seen by the engine ecu that is delivered from the manifold pressure sensor, fooling the ecu and so stopping it going into limp mode when running higher than factory boost pressures.

This box is an addon for those wanting to run higher boost pressure than standard that do not have a remap on the car that allows more boost pressure to be ran.
