The Td5 in standard form responds well to basic performance remap tuning. Give it a larger hi flow intercooler and it will give even more power still. With a performance intercooler fitted you will still only have the standard 1.20 bar of boost pressure available from the turbo without the use of a boost box clamp.

However it is possible to increase the turbo boost pressure to give even more power and torque when coupled with a remap that will add the extra needed fuel, this however has its own problems in respect that the ECU will shut down to limp mode at a certain point thinking you are over boosting !

 Send us your ecu and we will send it back with a reprogrammed calibration allowing upto 1.4bar of boost.

We can add this upgrade to all NNN flash able ecu’s even if already tuned, tuned MSB ecu’s fitted with encryption pcbs are not compatible for this modification.
